Home Hardware is a great place to shop for hardware and housewares. Knowledgeable staff and the ability to order most things through their catalogue. They taught me how to prepare and hydrate lime mortar to repair my old house (never use Portland cement on a Victorian!). They are small enough to be personable and large enough to order anything (affiliated with the giant Home Hardware chain out of St. Jacobs, Ontario).
